Established in 1924, RF Burrows & Sons is a 4th generation family butcher.
We pride ourselves in sourcing meat, poultry and game from farms that we trust to supply quality meat and have excellent animal husbandry.
We make our own sausages, pork pies and sausage rolls using free-range pork. We have dedicated butchers who specialise in meat preparation and offer a range of meals ready for cooking.
Our fully stocked deli has a wide range of excellent cheeses, olives, cooked meats & pate. We also sell high-quality condiments and dry goods from a variety of pasta to Mrs Darlington’s jams and chutneys.
Our Himalayan Salt Fridge enables us to specialise in dry-aged beef. This dry-ageing process involves hanging the meat in a humidity-controlled fridge surrounded by Himalayan Salt blocks. This environment causes the natural enzymes in the meat to break down and tenderise the meat resulting in a superb steak or Sunday Roast.
